Press Release: Storyteller.net Releases Unvarnished Grimm Tales on CD
Posted: 2005-08-22 By SNStaff

Press Release
Use date: August 22-December 31, 2005

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE. Photo links included below.

Synopsis:
Coinciding with the release of a major Summer motion picture, Arizona-based national Storyteller K. Sean Buvala takes on the Brothers Grimm with a brand new CD collection of unvarnished Grimm folktales. The CD, "Seven Ravens: Unvarnished Tales from the Brothers Grimm," will be released August 26, 2005. The CD is available at www.unvarnishedtales.com.

Avondale, AZ August 22, 2004- "Bad boys, tough girls, petulant parents and knives are all here- and that’s just the first story on the CD," says national-travelled storyteller K. Sean Buvala from his office in Avondale as he describes his newest CD release of "Seven Ravens: Unvarnished Tales from the Brothers Grimm." Buvala, the director of Storyteller.net and a veteran of 20 years of storytelling throughout the country releases his fourth CD of storytelling August 26, 2005. The CD is available online at http://www.unvarnishedtales.com .

Buvala continued, "Folks who want to explore folktales that haven’t been ’cleaned up’ will really appreciate this CD. The Grimm Brothers were collectors of folklore and not the con men it seems they are being portrayed as in the latest Summer movie. The Grimms really intended to collect these stories to preserve the heritage of the people and with that comes all the fullness of images of life, death, religion, consequence and reward. The tales are brilliant in and of themselves. When I saw the movie heading for theaters, I thought it might be fun to share the real Brothers Grimm with folks. They’ll enjoy learning the real versions of some tales."
